Clinicalguidelinefortreatmentofpulmonaryarterialhypertension(PAH)hasbeenchangingduringthepast10yearswithdevelopmentoftargetedtherapyforPAH.TreatmentofPAHshouldincludegeneralmeasuresandsupportivecare,treatmentofassociateddisease,targetedtreatmentforPAH,andlungtransplantationinadvancedcases.TargetedtherapyforPAHcanimprovesymptom,qualityoflifeandtimetoclinicalworseninginPAHpatients.Regularfollow-uptoevaluatethetreatmentefficacyisessentialandinsufficienttreatmentefficacyshouldbemodifiedwithotherclassofmedicationorpreparinglungtransplantations.ResearchfornewmedicationisactivelyperformedandnoveldrugisexpectedtobeimprovingsurvivalofPAHpatients.
